Day 1
Arrive in Moscow
Welcome to Moscow – we’ll greet you at the airport and get you checked in to your hotel.

Day 2
Full Day Moscow Orientation
Your adventure begins with a visit to Red Square. Lenin’s Tomb, St. Basil’s Cathedral – anchors of one of the world’s most influential cities. You’ll visit the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, destroyed under Stalin and restored in 1990’s, and visit the Novodevichy Convent, setting of War and Peace, Anna Karennina and the resting place of both leaders and thinkers. No visit to Moscow would be complete without exploring the Kremlin. Your half-day tour begins with the extraordinary State Armoury, treasure-house of the Tsars. Your guide will open up a world of fine carriages, sumptuous clothing and the jewels of Faberge. Across the square you’ll take in two of the Kremlin’s cathedrals, now museums: Assumption, once the cathedral of coronations and the burial place of religious leaders, and Archangel, the royal burial church. Day 3
Half Day Tretyakov Gallery or Pushkin Fine Arts Museum
Today you have a chance to design your day. You can choose one of the following tours (may be selected on arrival):

1) Today’s half-day tour takes in the highlights of the world’s best collection of Russian icons and pre-Revolutionary Russian art. Your private guide will escort you through the stunning Tretyakov Gallery and its 100,000 outstanding works of art. Originally the private collection of a wealthy Russian merchant, Pavel Tretyakov is one of Moscow’s greatest treasures. (B)

2) The world-famous Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts is celebrated for its stunning collection of Western European art. Discover its remarkable highlights during your half- day guided tour, including fabulous works by masters such as Rubens, Rembrandt and Botticelli and excellent exhibitions of Egyptian and Classical art. With Impressionist and Post-Impressionist collections to rival any in France, works by Cezanne, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Picasso, Matisse and Renoir are sure to capture your imagination. Moscow hotel – airport
This morning, relax over breakfast– we’ll get you to the airport in plenty of time for your flight.(B)
