Day 1
Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel (Hotel Check-in time is 1400hrs). Day free to relax at hotel and get accustomed to Indian weather and timings. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 2
Sightseeing of Delhi
After breakfast leave for sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting Raj Ghat (Cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi), Rickshaw ride in Old Delhi, Jama Mosque (subject to day of the week) , Drive past Red Fort, followed by tour of New Delhi visiting Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and India Gate. Overnight in Delhi.(B)
Day 3
Delhi to Mandawa (Drive time: approximately 6hrs)
After breakfast leave for Mandawa, semi-desert region of Shekhawati and popularly known as the “open air art gallery” of Rajasthan. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon proceed for guided tour visiting Havelis, temples and cenotaphs. Overnight in Mandawa. (B)
Day 4
Mandawa to Bikaner (Drive time: approximately 4hrs)
After breakfast leave for Bikaner. The city is dotted with scores of sand dunes. More readily called the camel country. The city is distinguished for the best riding camels in the world and hence boasts of having one of the largest Camel breeding farm in the world. On arrival transfer to hotel. Later proceed for guided tour visiting Junagarh Fort, Ganga Singh Museum and The Camel Breeding Farm. Overnight in Bikaner. (B)
Day 5
Bikaner to Jaisalmer (Drive time: approximately 7hrs)
After breakfast leave for Jaisalmer. “The Golden City” was the part of the famous Silk Route during the days of yore. The splendid Jaisalmer Fort stands proudly on its land and narrates the stories of the valour and chivalry of the Rajput rulers. Jaisalmer still retains its medieval charm, which is evident in its colourful narrow streets, splendid forts and palaces of Rajasthan, opulent havelies and bazaars. On arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free for relaxation. Overnight in Jaisalmer. (B)
Day 6
Jaisalmer
After breakfast, proceed for guided city tour visiting massive Havelies and Jain Temple located within the Fort area. Afternoon excursion to Sam & Dunes & enjoy sun-set with ride on Camel back. Overnight in Jaisalmer.(B)
Day 7
Jaisalmer to Jodhpur (Drive time: approximately 6hrs)
After breakfast leave for Jodhpur. “The Sun City” was founded by Rao Jodha, a chief of the Rathore clan, in 1459. It is named solely after him. The city is known as the “Sun City” because of its bright and sunny weather throughout the year. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight in Jodhpur.(B)
Day 8
Jodhpur to Udaipur (Drive time: approximately 6hrs)
After breakfast, proceed for guided city tour visiting massive Meharangarh Fort and Jaswanthada (Royal Cenotaphs). Later leave for Udaipur enroute visiting Ranakpur Temples, renowned for some marvellous carved temples in Amber stone. Continue your drive towards Udaipur – known as the Venice of the East. It is also called the “City of Lakes”. On arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free to relax at hotel or explore local market. Overnight in Udaipur.(B)
Day 9
Udaipur
After breakfast, proceed for guided city tour which includes visits to the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, a drive around Fatehsagar Lake and Sahelion ki Bari (Queen’s Resort for her friends). Follow it up with an afternoon boat cruise at Pichola Lake surrounded by splendid hills, palaces and temples. Enjoy the brilliant scenery while boating and take back some wonderful pictures. Overnight in Udaipur. (B)
Day 10
Udaipur to Bundi (Drive time: approximately 4:30hrs)
After breakfast leave for Bundi. On arrival check in at hotel, followed by a guided city tour visiting Bundi Fort and Stepwells. Overnight in Bundi.(B)
Day 11
Bundi to Jaipur (Drive time: approximately 5hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur. On arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free to relax at hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.(B)
Day 12
Jaipur
After breakfast, leave for Amber Fort where you may ride on Elephant back to Fort . Later visit Observatory, City Palace and a photo stop at Palace of Winds. You will have some free time in evening to visit local bazaars. Overnight in Jaipur.(B)
Day 13
Jaipur/ Fatehpur Sikri/ Agra (Drive time: approximately 5hrs)
After breakfast leave for Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute (a ghost town, largely abandoned since the sixteen century). Continue your drive towards Agra. Agra is famous as being home to one of the seven wonders of the world-the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendour of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces is a vivid remainder of the capital in the 16th and early 17th centuries. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon proceed for guided tour visiting Taj Mahal and Agra fort. Overnight in Agra.(B)
Day 14
Agra/ Delhi (Drive time: approximately 4hrs) / Depart Delhi (By Flight)
After breakfast leave for Delhi International airport to connect your onward flight back home.
