St. Petersburg airport to city
Welcome to St. Petersberg – we’ll greet you at the airport and get you checked in to your hotel.
Day 2
Full Day Peterhof & Hermitage museum
This morning we’ll drive to Peterhof, the summer estate of Peter the Great. After his victory over the Swedes in 1709, Peter decided to build a palace “befitting of the very highest of monarchs” — over 5000 labourers, serfs and soldiers were employed in its creation. To avoid the crowds, the Grand Palace is opened for you before official opening hours. After, you’ll be whisked back to St. Petersburg by hydrofoil.After lunch, our tour will continue with a visit to one of the most famous museums in the world, the awe-inspiring Hermitage. The Hermitage occupies six magnificent buildings and houses 3 million pieces of artwork. Begun by Catherine the Great, by the time Nicholas II ascended the throne in 1894, he was heir to the greatest collection of art in Europe.(B)
Day 3
Half Day city tour & Canal cruise
Travel to one of St Petersburg’s iconic locations in the manner Peter the Great intended with a one-hour private journey on a canal boat. When establishing the “Venice of the North” on forty-two islands within the River Neva’s complex delta, he envisaged the river to be the main thoroughfare of the city. Your cruise allows you to gain a unique perspective of the city — the granite embankments appear as pedestals for the magnificent palaces. Disembark at the fascinating 18th century Peter & Paul Fortress, resting place of Peter the Great, architect of this great city. (B)

Depart St Petersburg
This morning, relax over breakfast – we’ll get you to Moscow airport in plenty of time for your flight.(B)
