An ideal 3 day extension for those who love wildlife and safaris. This short Ranthambore tour may be combined with the Golden Triangle tour as well as most other North India tours. This trip takes you to one of North India’s best tiger reserves Ranthambore, with 2 visits to the National Park, giving you a glimpse of India’s wildlife and try your luck at spotting a Tiger in the Wild.
Day 1
Arrive Ranthambore
Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most renowned National Park in Northern India, spread over an area of 1,334 sq km. It has a large number of fauna, significant among those being sambhar, chital, nilgai, chinkara, langur, wild boar, peafowl and the Great Indian Tiger. The park is majorly famous for its tigers and is one of the best locations in India to see them in natural habitat. (B, L, D)
Day 2
In Ranthambore
Early morning, we set off for our first safari. This largest national park in Rajasthan, shelters a huge variety of wildlife. Its small lakes are home to crocodiles, birds fill the trees and sambar deer, monkeys and (obviously…) the tigers make this an adventure to remember. We’ll return to our hotel for breakfast and chance to recharge. After lunch, we’ll pay a second visit to the park and discover yet more wildlife. We’ll be back at the hotel before sunset. (B, L, D)
Day 3
Leave Ranthambore
After breakfast check-out and leave for your onward destination. This tour can end with a drop either to your hotel or to Jaipur Airport. This Ranthambore extension can also be done between Agra and Jaipur. (B)
