Day 1 – Monday: Warsaw
Transfer to your hotel. Welcome Dinner and overnight in Warsaw (D)

Day 2 – Tuesday: Warsaw
Morning orientation tour, ends at the former Jewish Ghetto.Walk along Memory Lane; see the Warsaw Ghetto Heroes monument, and the marble plaque commemorating Mila 18. Stop at Umschlag Platz, the place where 300,000 Jews were deported to Treblinka. Visit the Old Cemetery. Then, continue to the Old Town for a walking tour. View the magnificent Royal Castle and the reconstructed Barbican. Overnight in Warsaw. (B)

Day 3 – Wednesday: Warsaw • Krakow
Morning drive to Krakow, the ancient capital of Poland. Continue on a pilgrimage to Auschwitz and Birkenau. Overnight in Krakow. (B)

Day 4 – Thursday: Krakow
Drive to the Castle and Coronation Cathedral. Continue to Kazimierz, the former Jewish section. Visit the ancient Remuh Synagogue and the nearby cemetery. Stop at the 14th-century Alt Synagogue, which houses the Museum of Jewish History and Culture. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then, drive via Oskar Schindler’s former factory, and other sights highlighted in the movie, Schindler’s List. Overnight in Krakow. (B, L)

Day 5 – Friday: Krakow • Budapest
Cross the Slovak border* and drive through the scenic countryside. Continue to Budapest. Tonight, attend evening services at the impressive Dohany Street Synagogue built in 1859. Overnight in Budapest. (B, L)

Day 6 – Saturday: Budapest
This morning, optional Shabbat services at the Dohany Street Synagogue. Afternoon walking tour of lively Budapest. Dinner at Gundel Restaurant. Overnight in Budapest. (B, D)

Day 7 – Sunday: Budapest
Explore Buda and Pest. Drive via Heroes Square, the Castle District and Fisherman’s Bastion. Continue to the Jewish Museum. Stop at the unique Weeping Willow Memorial. Then, on to the Raoul Wallenberg monument. Tonight, enjoy a boat cruise on the Danube River. Overnight in Budapest. (B)

Day 8 – Monday: Budapest • Prague
Morning flight to Prague. Afternoon panoramic tour which includes views of the State Opera, Wenceslas Square, the National Museum, and Charles Bridge. Continue to Prague Castle; walk across the castle’s courtyard to see St. Vitus Cathedral. Cross the Vltava River to the Old Town; enjoy a walking tour of this lovely area. See the old Town Hall and the world-famous astronomical clock. Overnight in Prague. (B)

Day 9 – Tuesday: Prague
Morning Jewish walking tour. Visit the Jewish Museum complex, home of the Precious Legacy; the 13th-century Alt-Neu Synagogue and the Pinkas, Klaus and Maisel synagogues. Continue to the 15th-century Jewish Cemetery. See the 16th-century Jewish Town Hall, with its distinctive tower and clock with Hebrew letters. Remainder of the day at Leisure. Overnight in Prague. Day 10 – Wednesday: Prague
Day at leisure, or, participate in the optional pilgrimage to Terezin. Visit the small fortress, museum, and the Jewish cemetery with its impressive Menorah Sculpture surrounded by symbolic, nameless graves. Return to Prague for the rest of the day at leisure. Farewell Dinner and overnight in Prague. (B, D)

Day 11 – Thursday: Departure
Morning transfer to the airport for your return flight.
